Weekly Update - 11/09/2020

Hello there! Welcome to the second weekly update, where we share work, events, and more.

You may have noticed that we haven't posted in the last two weeks. That is because we had fall break, and therefore haven't been able to post. With that out of the way, let's get right into things!

Pro-F

Recently we have been planning two sales: Our winter sale, and a chocolate fundraiser.

For our winter sale, we will be selling hand-made Christmas cards and hand sanitizer.

For the chocolate fundraiser, we will be partnering with Bernard Callebaut and Master Chocolat. We haven't planned much yet with either of these sales, however Bernard Callebaut is going to come in and talk to us about the chocolate fundraiser today. More details about that soon!

Remembrance Day

For Remembrance Day, which is coming up this Wednesday, We have been learning about WWII and the atomic bombs that were dropped on Japan. Tomorrow we will also have a Remembrance Day assembly.

COVID-19

So far, everything has been going well with the COVID-19 pandemic. No one in our school has tested positive, and we are all hopeful that it will stay that way. However, we are always prepared for a situation in which we would have to isolate for a few weeks, and have all our work online using Google Classroom.
