Work and Sales!

We've just come back from fall break, and we're getting really busy. We are about to switch roles in our classroom jobs, and product making has started for our winter sale!

Before our fall break, we were assigned some seminar readings. These will be our first student-led seminars of the year! We also filled out some questions to help us determine some books we'd like to read. They were really interesting.

Our grade 7's and 8's are also doing local history research projects in groups. They recently worked on another project to help them with this one. They can choose many different ways to present their projects, from skits, to videos, etc.

Our winter sale and chocolate sale are coming up, and along with that, one of our peers has decided to donate their hair. We will be donating 75% of our winter sale profit, along with their hair to an organization that supplies children who have lost their hair due to medical reasons, such as cancer treatments, or alopecia, with human hair wigs at no cost to the family! Our entire class agreed this was a great idea, and we all agreed on the amount of money we'd send.
